CORRECTIONS

Our denial of God will bring a rebuttal from God even if not recognized by immature minds clinging to the security of reductionism and conventional opinion.

  

You will meet Dark Presence in a dream, fierce in your mind’s eye. You will be startled and wake with a cry. It is fathomless mystery of God barging into your awareness as an exasperation with you. That you direct your life’s focus to affection, that you accept the truth of your spirit being, that all else is for peripheral consideration.

 

Your sense of self will be taken away, as if you no longer exist, and only your awareness remains. Your examined life will become desperate. You will be overcome with uncertainty. You will drop to your knees and begin muttering an ancient prayer. After a while the absence will cease. You will once again become aware of your existence. Your gratitude will be memorable. You will regain the confidence of being you had before the experience but you will be able to realize that you are created by God, not by the body you inhabit.

 

   If you are standing before a gravesite, wallowing in morose memories, and if two birds suddenly fly right past, averting a collision only at the last moment, such that your gloom is interrupted, do not return to it. Think differently.
